Question
QUESTION: Is there any way to convert my process color (CMYK) artwork to Pantone color scheme by automatically?
Thanks

ANSWER: Hi Dyon,

No there is no automatic way to change CMYK to the closest Pantone automatically. You could use the Pantone process color swatches to match the numbers to the closest, but its all manual.

Sorry

QUESTION: Could you tell me how to convert the color manually? i'm using Adobe illustrator CS2. Thanks

Answer
Hi Dyon,

You will have to load the Pantone swatches palette, (Window>load swatches library>Pantone etc.). Then browse through the pantone swatches to find the closest color to what you have and add it to your swatches palette (click the swatch). Then choose your object and replace the existing color with the new swatch.

Thanks

Kevin
