Question
I'm trying to embed a hyperlink in a homepage graphic I'm creating in illustrator, but when I upload the graphic to my site the link does not work.  I'm creating the link in the attributes panel and saving the file as a web image.  How do I make this work?  Help!

Answer
Hi Dave,

First make sure you are applying the attributes to a slice and not to the image and that you are using "http://" before your web address so it links properly.

When you save for web and devices, these slices are where your link will be.

Also you should be saving the html file along with the images. That is where your code for the link ends up. You would load the html to your server and the link will be there.

Thanks

Kevin
