Respected Amy,
I am using adobe illustrator cs and i am trying to open a large file of ai.format but it shows a message and it says This File is generated by a newer version of illustrator would you like to open? some data might be lost.
or something like that please can you help me
Hi Jamali,
You have CS but the file you are trying to open was created in CS2, CS3, or CS4.
You will need to contact the person who created the file and ask them to Save it as version CS for you.
Illustrator cannot open documents created in previous versions.
