Hi, Kevin, I see a few people have asked about missing fonts in Illustrator CS (3). I have a few design projects stored on my PC -Now, trying to recreate the same design for another client, I find the font I like using most for this is missing. the substitute is nowhere near the original. Is there a way to reinstall the font library?
Is there a way to download new fonts into illustrator?

Hi Elaine,

I would invest in some font management software first. You can purchase a really nice pro app for under $100. Otherwise to reinstall fonts, you will have to put them into the fonts folder in your system folder. Then restart everything and it should show up in Illustrator. Im not sure why a font you have been using would suddenly disappear though unless you had to do a reinstall or upgrade.
