Adobe Illustrator - title for an exhibit

Expert: Kevin Stohlmeyer - 10/6/2009

Question
Hi Kevin,
I am working on an exhibit and want to make the title signage.   I just don't know how to make the letters about 3-4" high and how to place them in a document so that it can be printed.
I would appreciate your help.

Answer
Hi Marjorie,

You will need to create your document to the size you want printed.  Then take the text tool (T) and click on your page. You will get the blinking cursor and can then input your text. Next, select your text and in the font size box in the info bar, you can type in "3 in." and it will make them the appropriate pt size to fit.

Thanks

Kevin
