Question
Hi,

I am only able to save my AI files when I'm connected to the net in the office. Cant save my work when I'm not connected or even connected to other lines. Why is that? Please help.

Hi Andrew,

This sounds like a bad install, eg. it was installed across a server connection and not directly on your computer. When you are not connected to the network at your office, you are missing elements necessary to do these functions. Come to think of it, that would be a great anti-pirating option, but does not help your situation.

If you can, have your IT dept. reinstall the software on your computer directly, or talk to them about the issue. You may find that they are aware of it and planned it this way.
