QUESTION: How to convert an illustrator file in low resolution pdf file. I want to know about how to do it. I unable to reduce pdf file size. In Coreldraw file we can change the resolution but in illustrator we cant do that so i want to do that like coreldraw. can u explain about how to change the resolution in illustrator

ANSWER: Save as...
Select illustrator pdf as filetype
click save
the pdf options dialog box opens
click the compression menu
choose what settings you want to compress images to.

QUESTION: i was followed that steps,but that pdf file is 7MB, so I want to reduce that file more. i can't do that it. I haven't idea about that compression menu.can u tell me, how to reduce that file size using Compression menu.

when you save as a pdf another window opens with all the pdf settings you can select.
in this box on the left of it is a group of settings headings like:
General
Compression
Marks and Bleeds
Advanced
etc...

Clicking on 'Compression' brings up the compression settings in the window. Here you can choose what resolution you want your images to be saved at. 1200dpi is the highest you ever want to go, and 72dpi is generally the lowest (it is screen resolution, so if nobody is printing the image choose this)
