Adobe Illustrator/Adobe Reader

Question
I have Adobe Reader 9.0.  I have recently started scanning documents on my copier and opening them with my Adobe Reader.  When my document opens it opens to show the whole page sometimes making the print at 54% or ETC... I want it to open at 100%  I can zoom to 100% but it will not let me save it at 100%.  It gives me the message that the changes to the document cannot be saved.  FYI...My Board has recently gone to a paperless Board meeting and when I upload my document so that all my Board members can view it...I want it to be viewed as actual size and they can scroll down.  The way it is now...the Board members have to zoom it to 100%.  I hope you can make sense of my question?  Thank you for your help.

Answer
Hi Mitzi,

I am not listed as an expert for Acrobat, but I do know that in order to change the default opening view, you need the full version of Adobe Acrobat, not just Reader, in order to change and save the initial view of a PDF document.

Do you own that?

Expertise

I can help troubleshoot your Illustrator 9 through CS3 (and most CS4) problems and suggest the best way to get the results you need. Although I can help with some installation issues, my forte is prepress and how to use the tools and functions in the application itself.

Experience

I've been a graphic artist for over 20 years. Oh my God, 20 years.
