QUESTION: Kevin,
I guess I didn't make it clear enough, but the font is already installed on my computer. I have it on Microsoft Word, but not on Illustrator. The dilemma is getting it on Illustrator, not installed on my computer.
Thanks.
AnswerOh!
If you have them in your system where you can access them in Word. One of two issues is going on.
1. They are only installed in the Word Resources folder in the system and not actually in the system folder.
If they are available in other apps other than Office products, but still not in Illustrator then see #2. If they are unavailable in everything else but Office, then you need to use the link I sent you to install them in the system properly.
2. If they are available everywhere but Illustrator you may have a font that is incompatible with Illustrator. This is usually the case with specialty fonts or fonts downloaded from the internet.
You can try to install in this folder:
Windows Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts
but if it is truly installed in the system, then installing here wont matter.
