Adobe Illustrator/RGB colors

Question
Hi, I'm setting specific RGB logo colors in illustrator, then saving for web.
Then to check the colors I open the jpg in pshop and go over the color with
the eyedropper. The RGB readout in the info is different from what I set. Is
there a way to keep what I set in Illustrator?

Thanks!

Answer
Hi Kate,

You need to make sure that you color management settings are the same in both applications when you do things like this. In Bridge, go to Edit>Color Management and choose the appropriate setting for all Creative Suite apps.

In the end, if the colors look appropriate, a subtle change in the numeric value is not the end of the world. If it is critical, try opening the a native Illustrator file through PS.

Thanks

Kevin
