Question
For some reason some of my hot keys are not working just recently on my
Illustrator CS2. These aren't the typical hot keys but hot  keys like spacebar +
Apple = Zoom. I'm not sure what I did or what can be done to fix the problem.

Hi Meridth,

Let's try one other thing. If you are on a Mac: Close Illustrator then, double-click your hard drive>users>Library>Preferences>Adobe Illustrator Settings. Then drag the file called "Adobe Illustrator Prefs" into the trash. Restart Illustrator. When you close Illustrator the reset preferences will be saved.

If PC: In My Computer, open C:>Documents and Settings > User >Application Data > Adobe > Adobe Illustrator CS2 Settings. (Your version of Illustrator will be in the foldr name.) Inside this folder is a file called AIPrefs. Drag this file to the trash. Restart Illustrator. When you close Illustrator the reset preferences will be saved.

This should do the trick.
