Adobe Illustrator/Font organizing in Illustrator

Question
Hi,
I'm spending too much time trying to find the font i want. Mainproblem is: I make layout for signs, designing logos etc, and very often i have an idea of the font style i want to use (arabic style, old style, retro, etc..). But the way i do takes long time: i make a tekst on my artboard, and use the arrows on keyboard to scroll the fonts until i find a font fitting to my idea. So: I wonder what's the best thing to do when it comes to organizing fonts in Illustrator? Is it possible to make my own font-library, where i can sort my own fonts and naming in groups, like collecting all my computer fonts in one palett, all my retro fonts in another and so on...? Or do i need special programs for this?

Answer
Hi Siv,

You should be using a font management program such as Suitcase, Font Agent, or Font Explorer. These will allow you to collect all the fonts in one location and organize them in the program by style, name, etc. You can also use these apps to preview fonts before loading a massive amount into Illustrator and scrolling through the list.

Thanks
