Question
Is there a way to make use of the Intuos3 Airbrush when working on Adobe Illustrator?

And thank you ever so much for sharing your knowledge!

Answer
Hi Anthony,

Well, you can create a brush in Illustrator that uses rotation and tilt and bearing, etc., but I don't know if those settings are specific to the airbrush or just the stylus. I don't know for sure - I use my tablet but don't have the airbrush.

I know that several of the tools in Illustrator are pressure sensitive but I can't think of one that can be used as an airbrush - a scatter brush, maybe?

Sorry I don't have a better answer for you.

Good luck!

Expertise

I can help troubleshoot your Illustrator 9 through CS3 (and most CS4) problems and suggest the best way to get the results you need. Although I can help with some installation issues, my forte is prepress and how to use the tools and functions in the application itself.

Experience

I've been a graphic artist for over 20 years. Oh my God, 20 years.
