Adobe Illustrator/Importing Vector Graphics into AIllustrator CS4

Question
Hi :)

I have a detailed vector graphic that I created in Deneba Canvas 8.0. I need to import it into Illustrator CS4 and be able to keep the vector information for manipulation within AI and it comes across as a table in bitmap. Please advise as to whether it is possible or not. Thanks for your time and efforts! Lisa

Answer
Hi Lisa,

I'm not too  well versed in Deneba Canvas however I'll try to help. If you haven't already, try saving as an .eps file. Then open in Illustrator. If this doesn't work the next thing I would try is open in an older version of Illustrator CS3 or CS2 if you can. Since CS4 is still relatively new there may be a version conflict between them.
I hope this was helpful.

Thank you,

Tom
