Adobe Illustrator/Logo/Site design

Question
Kevin, thanks for helping with my question.  I'm a newbie to the world of graphic art.  Adobe may be more horse than I need but I'm trying to find a good program for developing a logo for a site as well as additional graphics on the site AND potentially the ability to develop animated graphics for the site.  Is Adobe the right product for this type of activity?  If not do you have recommendations that better fit the bill??  thanks!

Answer
Hi Harrison,

Adobe Creative Suite is the professional choice for design for print and web. I wouldn't go with anything else. If you are looking to get into web, look at the Web Professional Suite that includes Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, and Flash.

Thanks
