Adobe Illustrator/circle tool

Question

Boxer-Slip
I have just installed Illustrator CS4. I am trying to edit one of my drawing that I had saved as jpeg by Illustrator. I saved as ai format before. Now, I can not find elipse and circle tool. I have only rectangle tool. Please help! Thank you.

Hi Ayla,

First, go to window>workspace and select Essentials. Then press and hold down on the rectangle tool button and the ellipse tool should be the third button under it. Or you can just type the letter L and it will pop up automatically. If neither of these work and you only have the rectangle tool under that button, then you may need to reinstall.
