Question
I have a jpeg of a logo and some words. I am trying to make  the back ground transparent or change it to black. either way I can not figure it out, everytime I think I am close it transfers over with white back ground. I just did a picture of a person using anchores. but to use the anchores to go around each word does not look too good. please help I know im makeing this harder than it really is. thanks

Answer
Hi Malina,

The easiest thing to do is bring the jpeg into Photoshop and change the color in there. Then save and bring back into Illustrator.
Or convert the logo to vector art (may require some redrawing on your part) and you will have full manipulation of all components.

Thank you,

Tom
