Question

illustrator print setu
in my illustrator printer setup, the output setup is not activated. so tell me how to install the postscript option and output the halftone screens.


Answer
Those features only work when a postscript printer is chosen. You need to install a postscript printer driver and a PPD file for that printer, even if you do not have a postcript printer.

Once you install the printer and PPD, choose the printer as your default printer and the output setup will be activated.

But in order to actually print the separations, you must have a postscript printer or the AdobePDF printer, which comes with Creative Suite packages that include Acrobat.
