Adobe Illustrator/Blend Tool Spiral

Question
I am trying to create a spiral of circles using the Blend tool, with the inner-most circle being small and getting larger as they extend to the end of the spiral. I first create the spiral, then the circles small to large, then Replace Spine. It seems that the circles are distanced from their center rather than their outer edges. Is the latter possible?

Answer
Hi Jenn,

As far as I know, when it comes to the blend tool, you are stuck with the automatic centering when you replace the spines. There really isnt a way to change the alignment orientation unless you expand the blend back out to individual shapes and manually change the positioning. Something for CS5 I guess.

Sorry
