Adobe Illustrator/Color of stroke

Question
Hi again!

Upon watching the pdf document I created from a Word document including an eps I made with Illustrator, I noticed that the black stroke I have around my letters is not black.
It is dark grey.
The color in Illustrator (version 10) is 0%, 0%, 0%, 100%.

How wonder how I could make it real black.
Unfortunately, I do not know if this stroke getting black happened upon creating the eps, or placing the eps in word, or creating the pdf with CutePdf.

I created another pdf without another pdf-printer and got the same result, so I don't think it's the pdf creation that is the problem.
Do you know where that could come from?

Thanks in advance!

Answer
Hello Dontiego,

I assume you're talking about viewing on the monitor. There is a setting in the menu Illustrator>preferences>appearance of black. In the appearance of Black window Select "Display all Blacks as Rich Black". Make sure "Output all blacks accurately".
If I understand correctly this should help.

Thank you,

Tom
