Adobe Illustrator/toolbar and "view" options have disappeared

Question
Hi, my tool box and many options in the "window" drop down panel are gone. I
can't access AI help either. I was trying to move the AI program to my desktop
for easier access and this all seemed to occur then. I am in the middle of a
design project and need this fixed. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi Karen,

The easiest fix would be to put it back where it was installed. If that doesn't work, you may have to reinstall unfortunately. Since I dont know what OS you are using  or version of AI. I can't help you more than that. In the future, create a shortcut/alias to the app instead of moving it.
