hi, i got illustrator on a cd from a friend and the cd has every thing to download the installation. we can get to the part were we put in the seril number, and to choose which programs we want sense its the master version, and then we hit next and a box pops ups saying insert the CS4 disk into the drive when the disc is already in there. what should we do?

Hi Carly,

It sounds like it could possibly be a damaged disc. I had this happen with Apple install discs and I had to get another disc. I'm not on CS4 yet but this may be the problem. I hope I don't run into the same thing. Try searching Adobe forum for install problems. There are a few people who had problems and some suggestions.
