Question
Why do my PDF documents automatically ope in AI and how can I change this so that they are opened by Acrobat?

Answer
On a PC, right click on the icon of any PDF file on your desktop or in any folder and choose "Open With" from the menu. Next, choose "Choose Program." Locate the version of Acrobat that you wish to use to open PDFs. If it's not in the list, choose Browse and locate it that way. Check the box for "Always use the selected program to open this type of file."

Good luck! Hope it works. Sometimes registries on Windows can get pretty funky.
