Question
I have 600+ layers in a document I am working on, and I want to save each layer as its own .png file for a project. Is there a way to save each layer as its own .png file without having to go through "save as" for each and every layer?

Answer
Hi.

I found this script that will export layers to png.

http://hicksdesign.co.uk/journal/illustrator-exporting-layers-to-png

Click on the words 'this script.' Download, install, and it should appear under File > Scripts

I have not used it but I suspect it will work the same as most scripts do...

Good luck - looks promising!

Expertise

I can help troubleshoot your Illustrator 9 through CS3 (and most CS4) problems and suggest the best way to get the results you need. Although I can help with some installation issues, my forte is prepress and how to use the tools and functions in the application itself.

Experience

I've been a graphic artist for over 20 years. Oh my God, 20 years.
