Adobe Illustrator/airbrush

Question
How do I draw with an "airbrush" effect?
I would like to scribble away and create airbrush type lines, or make my current
paintbrush lines or text look "airbrushed" ?

Answer
Hi Brandt,

What you are asking to do is something you can achieve in Photoshop using a soft-edged brush at a lower opacity but cannot create in Illustrator. You can soften text to make it look feathered by going to Effect>Stylize>feather, but there is no way to scribble a soft effect like you can in Photoshop.

Thanks
