Hello Kevin,

I know your profile says ask questions up to CS3, but I was hoping you have enough knowledge and skill with CS4 to help.  I am studying graphic design on my own with Adobe Books and training software, however I haven't had the full version of CS4 installed yet.  I have the software & now need to decide on what laptop to get.  I am not trying to buy the cheapest laptop, but not the most expensive one either.  I've heard mixed reviews about CS4 and Vista.  I've been told that I should get a MAC.  I've been using Windows all my life & would rather stick to Windows, however am willing to switch to MAC if Adobe CS4 will run better, faster, & more efficient.  Please help me with some expert advice.

Hi Lynn,

Im a Mac user, but have nothing against Windows, especially with Production Premium software. My recommendation is to look at the minimum requirements and then double the RAM (seriously) and look at your PC. They are more cost effective and do support 64 bit processing compared to the Mac, which helps with CS4.
