Question

21.pdf
I am using Illust cs. I was sent a .pdf that I thought I could open in Illust. all I get is an image in a box. I need to bring it into a sign program which will take illustrator 4. I tried to export to Illust legacy and save down, as I usually do. right now all I get is a box around the art work. I attached the file. can you help.

Answer
HI Steve,

I tried opening your pdf file, but it is just an image file. There are no paths included in this, sort of like a bitmap file. You will have to go back to the original file before it was a pdf to save this out properly.

Thanks
