QUESTION: Is there a place where you can specify which media you want to print to. I am
printing translucent envelopes and I need to specify heavy cardstock so the
fuser will fuse ink onto paper.

ANSWER: Julie,

It is under the printer setup in the print window. The material is specified by your printer not by illustrator.

Hi Julie,

In the print window, you click the button labeled "printer" this takes you into the printer dialogue box. inside this box is normally a pull down for media or paper type, etc. It really relies on what kind of printer you have. Each printer creates its own unique dialogue interface inside this printer window. Without knowing what type/model of printer you have I can't give you more specific information.
