Question QUESTION: Just purchased Epson Artisan 700 All in one printer. All is well except when
trying to print my layouts in Illustrator and In Design. Nothing happens.
Previous printer was Epson stylus RX500. Is it possible that AdobeCS isn't
identifying my new Artisan700? Epson thinks it's an Adobe Problem. I've
deleted as much of the RX500 info as possible.How can I get to print from
AdobeCS? Please help.

ANSWER: Hi Frank,
When you select print in Illustrator does the 700 printer come up in the printer box? Also in the printer window check that the Epson 700 ppd for that printer is selected.
It sounds like you print from other programs okay. Check to see in the printer dialog box that the correct ppd is selected. That's the first thing I thought of off the top of my head.

QUESTION: Hi Tom--Last night I printed a layout and it worked, but only that one time.
Freaky. The ppd box is blank. I went in to assign the artisan 700, and it still
comes up blank. Photoshop seems OK. Illus., & In Design is where I can not print

I found this forum (see below) that may have a little more info to help with your problem. Apparently you're not alone with this problem. If you scroll toward the bottom of the page they mention a couple programs that may help.
