Adobe Illustrator - Proper Websettings

Expert: Kevin Stohlmeyer - 6/9/2009

Question
Hello,
When creating an image in illustrator what it the proper way to save for the web
and does it have to be a RGB file as well

Thanks

Answer
Hi Kacy,

Yes it does have to be RGB for the web. When you go to the web use the File>Save for Web and Devices. It is up to you what settings you want to use when you save, but if you are starting out I would use a preset on the top right panel.

Thanks

Kevin
