Adobe Illustrator - Can't resize any object

Expert: Kevin Stohlmeyer - 6/16/2009

Question
Hi,

I'm unable to resize any objects or text box in illustrator CS3. Bounding box and edge are already turned on. Hope you can help me!

Answer
Hi Aude,

Double check the top of your window (below the options bar) and make sure you are not in "Isolation Mode" If you see a "back" arrow. Click that through until you are out of it. This is a common "issue" with CS3, that you can double click something, even accidentally, and it takes you in there. While in isolation mode, you cannot select or change other objects other than the objects in that area.

Thanks

Kevin
