Adobe Illustrator/Saving as Jpeg

Question
Hi, I have been using AI for about two years, yet I consider myself fair with using AI - with the basic tools.  I have been making sketches easily and turning them into Jpegs to email.  However during the last week my system keeps saying that I have "insufficient memory available to complete this operation".  I have 208 gigabytes unused, so that is not the problem.  Do you have any suggestions as to what may be going on?  I really would appreciate your help.

Thank you,
Judie  :)

Answer
Hi Judie,

If you have a quarter of a Terabyte of memroy then kudos, thats the most RAM I have ever heard installed on a computer! Im assuming you meant disk space and not actual RAM...or MB instead of GB.

The issue could be that you do not have enough memory allocated to Illustrator and your files are too big to process to JPG. Are you using the Save for Web and Devices command to save these? Downsampling your images will help as well.

Thanks

Kevin
