Hi Kevin.
I have a word file from client. The logo obviously was originally an .ai file. Without having to re-trace- is there a way to get it back into vector?

Hi Phil,

You can use Live Trace to speed up the process, otherwise retracing is the only way to get it back. Word embeds a raster preview into the file and if the original file is not included, you may be out of luck. The only other option I can think of is to try and drag the art out of the word file onto your desktop and see if it retained the AI formatting, but Ive never tried this option.
