QUESTION: I have reset my virtual memory to 4092 min, 8184 max.

ANSWER: Hi Jesse,

Virtual memory can be a small help, but in the end, Illustrator requires actual RAM, not VM to run some of its processes.

Hi Jesse,

I understand that, but remember its not about how much you have installed, its more about how much you have available. I have 6 Gigs on my computer, but with fonts and other apps running, I actively only have 1.5 available for Illustrator, which is not much depending on how big my files are.
