Adobe Illustrator/arrowheads and overprinting

Question
Kevin,
I'm working in CS2, 3, and 4 pretty much every day.

Is there a way to set the "add arrowheads" effect to overprint without having to expand the appearance?

If I set the line to overprint, the arrowhead does not overprint. This seems like a very obvious bug with this particular effect that has been around as long as I can remember.

Thanks for any insight you can share.

Answer
Hi Gary,

There is no way to change the attributes to an effect without expanding it. It's not really a bug, the whole point of an effect is to be able to manipulate it and remove it without damaging your original path. I wish there was a way to do it too.

Sorry!
