Question
when i tried to open a file (illustrator file CS3) this msg comes out (The
operation can't complete because there isn't enough memory (RAM) available ?!

note: the system is MAC OS

Answer
Hi Anas,

Make sure everything is closed out but illustrator and try reopening. It could also be that you have a lot of fonts loaded without a font manager.

Normally, this has nothing to do with Illustrator, rather other apps/assets that are taking away RAM from Illustrator.

The other issue that could be happening is that you are attempting to run an operation or have a lot of effects that are maxing out your allocated RAM.

Thanks

Kevin
