Question
You said you don't work in AI 5 but I'm hoping you do now. I have AI 4 and want to open a file in AI 4 that's saved in IA 5. I found a work-around but want to know the official way to do this. Thanks.

Thanks for reminding me to update my bio. I am versed in CS5. There is no "official" way to open a CS5 file in CS4, so if you have found an acceptable work around, I'd stick with it. Normally, I ask the original artist to backsave to CS4 if needed. Its super easy to do and can save a lot of headaches using a workaround.
