Adobe Illustrator/Missing Plug-ins

Question
I use Illustrator CS3 on a Mac with OS 10.5.8. Recently the files I email
other people can not be opened. They get a file corrupted or missing
error. On the return email, there is a "missing Plug-Ins" box where the
artwork should be. I ordinarily send the files as EPS with fonts outlined.
What's up with that?

Answer
Hi Sherry,

It is the other person's email client corrupting your file. This is a typical issue with Outlook or Entourage users. The email app cannot read what kind of file it is, so it makes it "unknown" and when they send it back, it is corrupted.

Have you tried sending as a Press-Quality PDF? Same quality.
