Adobe Illustrator/Illustrator-crash

Question
Hi Keven,
I told my teacher about the problem and she asked if it could be the amount
of memory allocated to the Illustrator program itself.  If that is the case, how
could we fix it.  I'm on a MAC and the computer I work on at school is also a
MAC
thanks,
annie

Answer
Hi Annie,

I highly doubt it is the memory considering its happening on two computers. The is no way to change memory allocation for Illustrator in Mac OSX (leopard and higher). Here is a tech document that covers come considerations.

Again, I doubt it is the memory  because you are dealing with such a small file. If it was 200 mb I might consider that, but being under 30 mb is tiny compared to other items.

Thanks

Kevin
