Question
I have downloaded some free fonts, and they are in my "downloads" area, and then I did what you said about clicking start, then run, then typing %windir%\fonts and then ok, but when I go to file menu, and install new font, the fonts I downloaded aren't there. . .how do I get them?!

They are not showing up because they are not really font file formats.
Are you sure you have font files in your downloads folder or are they still the zipped downloaded items? If they are you need to expand them. Be careful with free fonts from the web - many of them are carriers for viruses and spyware.
