Question
Hi Kevin. I am needing to send a book to the printer, 40 pages of a4, and unfortunatly I only have photoshop and illustrator. How can I send these to the printer so that the printer doesnt have to open up each pages separately?

Hi Melanie,

If you have AI CS4, you can create multiple artboards and save as a multipage PDF. However, if you don't have AI CS4 or Adobe Acrobat Pro or InDesign, there is not much you can do.

In Acrobat, you can compile the individual PDF files into one document, or in InDesign you can place the individual pages into one document and export as a PDF.

Unfortunately, with PS (any version) and AI (CS3 or earlier) you cannot create multiple PDFs from them.
