QUESTION: Hi Kevin!
My Illustrator CS2 has recently stopped opening.  It starts initializing, and then the rainbow circle of doom appears and it won't open.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, same issue.  I don't know what it's interfering with.  I tried the troubleshooting document on adobe's website, but it didn't make a difference.  Please help!

Hi Jemma,

When Illustrator starts up, the opening screen has a status message when initializing. Check to see what it says when it stalls. If it is during the font menu performance or something similar, it could be a font issue. How many fonts are you currently running? Try turning off some and restarting. Illustrator CS2 was finicky with fonts.
