Adobe Illustrator/Missing CS3 Illustrator Menu Drop Down Items

Question
The computer is a flat screen Mac OS 10.4.x, 2 gig RAM running CS3 suite (Illustrator 10.4.11?)-already ran software updates and have them all, 50 gigs of free hard drive space.
My co-worker has the same computer and CS3 setup with all the drop down menu features when when clicked. I cannot even get the AI Tool bar to show up. I thought the installation might be corrupt so I re-installed the program with the same result.
There must be a preference setting setting that I missed but cannot find. Can you solve this puzzle?
Thanks!
david

Answer
Hi David,

Have you tried changing your workspace under Window>Workspace? Some workspaces such as Basic remove certain menu items and others turn off your tool bar. Everything can be changed using the Window menu. Start with the Default setting and see what shows up. If nothing changes, try turning on individual options with the Window menu.

Thanks

Kevin
