Adobe Illustrator/Repeated Action Case

Question
Hello Amy!

I am using AI CS3 with Windows HP.

I am having a trouble with "Repeated Action Case". That's I noted that whenever I apply a fill/stroke color or other actions, it's always repeated after I have applied once. Let me know what makes it so. What should I do if I don't want it to be repeated for whatever actions were done? Please explain to me in details if you don't mind.

Any would be appropriated!

I am looking forward to your answers!

Best wishes and good luck!

Yours sincerely,

Answer
Hello,

I need more information.

Are you saying that every time you apply an Action from the Action window it is done two times?

Or are you saying that every menu command you do, such as Assign Fill, Assign Stroke, etc., is done two times?

Please give me an example.

Thanks!
Amy

Expertise

I can help troubleshoot your Illustrator 9 through CS3 (and most CS4) problems and suggest the best way to get the results you need. Although I can help with some installation issues, my forte is prepress and how to use the tools and functions in the application itself.

Experience

I've been a graphic artist for over 20 years. Oh my God, 20 years.
