Greetings Kevin,
Please tell me how do I create a halo for a line in Adobe illustrator.

HI Sathish,
Select your line, then go to Effects>Stylize>Outer Glow. Choose the color you want the glow to be and the blending mode necessary to show up. After you apply it, you can continue to edit it by accessing it in the Appearance panel.
