Adobe Illustrator/Shifting and rescaling in Illustrator

Question
Hi Kevin,

I have another question for you.  As I mentioned before, my companies puts together patterns, quilt patterns to be exact and the designers are having issues that when they go into a file they've already worked on and perfected, the blocks (shapes) have shifted and scale of blocks have also changed.  So they're constantly having to redo there work.  I have never know Illustrator to do such things on it's own, but apparently it is.  Have you come across this problem?  Any suggestions?

THanks again so much!

Answer
Hi Jenni,

I'm at a loss on this one. I've never had anything shift unless someone else is opening up in a different version perhaps that is affecting the existing art. How are you saving the artwork out? Is it a native .ai file or something else?

Thanks

Kevin
