Adobe Illustrator/artboard color

Question
In CS5, the artboard beyond the boundaries of the page is gray. I need it to be white like it used to be in CS3. I use the whole artboard when sketching. Can I change the color to white?

Answer
Hi Stan,

The quick answer is no. But there is an easy workaround.

The artboard is the actual page size not the entire pasteboard and bleed areas. Anything beyond the boundary of the artboard is normally a light gray.

The easiest way to remedy this is to use the artboard tool to enlarge your document size to fit your sketches.

Thanks
