Adobe Illustrator/Graph issue

Question
Sorry Kevin - under object and graph it has design - not 'new design'. This allows you to add the design you have created but I want to add an image instead - is there away using live trace or something.

Answer
Hi Jack,

You can always use an image as a background for a graph, but to create a graph out of a complex illustration using Live Trace will not work.

If you want a step by step tutorial on creating graphs and charts - here is a great article from Smashing Magazine.

Hope this helps
