Question
QUESTION: HI and thanks for taking this question that I can't seem to get the right answer for yet. I have cs2 and I am designing my own photo pages. I want to be able to grab a photo and place it in a predetermined box size. The box is always available so that I can click and drag any photo into that box then place it on a page of desire. I a perfect world I would like the photo to auto resize or fit the small box dimensions to an extent. Thanks, P.

ANSWER: Hi Perry,

The reason  you can't find the answer is because Illustrator cannot do what you are asking. It is not a page layout application.

You would be better off using Adobe InDesign which can do everything you are asking.

Thanks

Kevin

QUESTION: I have photoshop cs2 not Illustrator can it still be done? thanks, P.

Answer
Hi Perry,

Sorry, you had asked the question in the Illustrator forum. However, Photoshop cannot do this either. Photoshop can edit images and create composites, but again, it is not a page layout program. If you have a Mac, you could use iPhoto.

Thanks

Kevin
