Adobe Illustrator/Illustrator files to Office apps

Question
I need to export an Illustrator (CS4) file to someone who will use in in Word, Publisher & PowerPoint at full size (6.5") and down to about 15% size. What kind of file (or files) must I provide them so the illustration remains high quality at these various sizes in Office apps (as it does in Illustrator)?

Answer
Hi Matt,

I would give them either a High Quality PDF or .eps file format both found in the Save menu. Both can be imported into Office products and then resize using image options.

Thanks

Kevin

Hi Matt,

I have used this method daily on many versions of Office as part of my job. I really wish you would have followed up before the poor ratings and I could have explained if you did not know how to do this. The trick is to save your PDF as at least high quality. If you save as any other setting like smallest file size, the results will be poor. I also has suggested saving as an eps which again, gives you a good print result even after resizing in Word.

In the future, a little patience and a follow up would be much appreciated before you assume and give poor ratings.
